Polk Audio RTi12 High Output Floorstanding Loudspeaker (Single, Black)

Polk Audio RTi12 High Output Floorstanding Loudspeaker (Single, Black) Review

I just picked up a pair of these Polk RTi12's (Black) and wow, I am honestly amazed at how great these speakers sound. Who said bigger is not always better. They obviously haven't heard of the RTi12's. What more can I really say, Polk Audio knows what they are doing...and they continue to do it very well. IF you are looking for crystal clear highs perfectly complemented with full and super responsive mid-bass (which really isnt too overwhelming)...then dont make the mistake of passing on these amazing speakers.
However be very careful, dont blow your back out trying to move one of these guys by yourself, as these bad boys are big (50" tall - but quite slim. So you dont really have to worry about locking your doors because the chance of someone running in and grabbing these is slime to none. However, anyone who can do this...you should stay away from and they deserve to keep 'em.

FYI - make sure you have pleanty of room for them - as well as a nice 10" or 12" sub to complement the package. If you have the means, I highly recomend picking up a pair. You will not reget it.

Great Speakers - kite6t9 -
I bought these bad boys as a blind buy at my local Frys. This is one purchase that I do not regret. I played my favorite movies to test out the sound quality and I was very impressed. My only grip is that these are very large and tall speakers and really really heavy.

Amazing - Christopher R. Dudzinski - SoCal
Crystal clear sound along all range levels. You will hear sounds that were not audible or clear enough to detect with lesser equipment. You do not need a subwoofer if you use a good amp like a QSC GX5 500 Watts/channel (best bang for the buck). They sound great even without the amp or sub but to really work them out you need at least 250W per channel. Worth every penny so get them while they are still around.
