Polk Audio PSW125 12-Inch Powered Subwoofer (Single, Black)

Polk Audio PSW125 12-Inch Powered Subwoofer (Single, Black) Review

I had a PSW-140 (over 10 years old) that finally died. I think it was from a power surge. Sent the amp section back to Polk for repair. Because parts are no longer available, they could not fix it. However, Polk did something that has made me a life-long customer. They offered me a deal on any current-model Polk subwoofer of my choosing, since I went to the trouble to send in the old amp for repair. I picked the 125 and I'm very happy with it. From start to finish, I dealt directly with a manager at Polk who was very helpful, informative and a really nice guy to boot. You can tell he loves his work. And the deal he gave me on the new unit was unbelievable - I can't thank Polk enough. I'm not going to publish the price for the replacement because I don't think it's fair to Polk. This was an unusual situation, and they did an unusually nice thing for a long-time customer. This is a company I like dealing with. The only reason I rated the 125 4 stars rather than 5 is that there are better, more expensive subs out there. Everybody knows that. But even at the 9 price point, this sub is a bargain for great sound!

Polk Audio PSW125 12-Inch Powered Subwoofer (Single, Black) Feature

  • A single 12-inch subwoofer with compression circuitry to limit distortion at earth-shaking volume levels
  • Equipped with one 12-inch dynamic balance composite woofer driver
  • Features laser-based Klippel measurement technology for improved linearity and deep, precise sound
  • Frequency Response: 32Hz - 225Hz
  • Peak power handling: 300 watts (150 watts continuous)

Polk Audio PSW125 12-Inch Powered Subwoofer (Single, Black) Overview

The PSW125 Powered Subwoofer delivers powerful, accurate and musical bass at shockingly low prices. Built for power and value, the PSW125 represents a continuing refinement of the highly regarded PSW Series and a great introduction to visceral home theater bass performance. Polk Audio PSW125 12-Inch Powered Subwoofer - Frank Hagen - usa
I paired this sub with a polk cs10 center, polk tsi 100 front, and polk t15 surround with my sony str-de945 reciever and it is crazy intence! The sound will blow you off of the couch! crystal clear and the bass will knock your teeth out! We love it!
p.s..YES IT IS TRUE, YOU WILL NEED TO BREAK IN THE SPEAKERS (ALL OF THEM) AND IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 15-20 HOURS, BUT YOU WILL HEAR AND FEEL THE DIFFERENCE!

Great subwoofer - Sam - Anaheim, CA
I'm using the subwoofer in a home theater system. The speaker
is connected to a receiver; I'm also using a Polk soundbar.
The sound is great and the crossover from the soundbar speakers
to the subwoofer is seamless.

A great value for the price paid. The only issue was to find a
large enough space in my cabinet as this subwoofer is fairly large.
I got it in by moving other components around, but I should have
looked into this issue before ordering the subwoofer. So, check
your available space and buy accordingly.

Fantanstic Value ! Great product !! - David Walker -
I purchased this 12 inch Polk Sub woofer online for 5 plus shipping at expoNJ.com [List and at my local Best Buy was 9] Shipping was the only negative .somewhat slow . Another and it took 2 weeks to arrive. It was perfect, not a second or a refurbished . . It's performance is astounding . . easy to connect, clear instructions, and it can connect to any amp . . you don't need a 'sub woofer output'- just use the existing left and right amp outputs if you don't have a lowlevel connection . . This is my sons who lives on a low bass rumble . . even he is impressed . . I want to steal it from him for my Home Theater surround sound system . . IF there is a better deal on a great sub woofer, I haven't found it yet !!!

Polk Audio RTi12 High Output Floorstanding Loudspeaker (Single, Black)

Polk Audio RTi12 High Output Floorstanding Loudspeaker (Single, Black) Review

I just picked up a pair of these Polk RTi12's (Black) and wow, I am honestly amazed at how great these speakers sound. Who said bigger is not always better. They obviously haven't heard of the RTi12's. What more can I really say, Polk Audio knows what they are doing...and they continue to do it very well. IF you are looking for crystal clear highs perfectly complemented with full and super responsive mid-bass (which really isnt too overwhelming)...then dont make the mistake of passing on these amazing speakers.
However be very careful, dont blow your back out trying to move one of these guys by yourself, as these bad boys are big (50" tall - but quite slim. So you dont really have to worry about locking your doors because the chance of someone running in and grabbing these is slime to none. However, anyone who can do this...you should stay away from and they deserve to keep 'em.

FYI - make sure you have pleanty of room for them - as well as a nice 10" or 12" sub to complement the package. If you have the means, I highly recomend picking up a pair. You will not reget it.

Great Speakers - kite6t9 -
I bought these bad boys as a blind buy at my local Frys. This is one purchase that I do not regret. I played my favorite movies to test out the sound quality and I was very impressed. My only grip is that these are very large and tall speakers and really really heavy.

Amazing - Christopher R. Dudzinski - SoCal
Crystal clear sound along all range levels. You will hear sounds that were not audible or clear enough to detect with lesser equipment. You do not need a subwoofer if you use a good amp like a QSC GX5 500 Watts/channel (best bang for the buck). They sound great even without the amp or sub but to really work them out you need at least 250W per channel. Worth every penny so get them while they are still around.

Polk Audio OWM3 On-Wall Speaker (Pair, White)

Polk Audio OWM3 On-Wall Speaker (Pair, White) Review

PROS:
These are some great sounding speakers. More than great, they sound spectacular. It has a very clear, full, rich complete sound that can sound as awesome as the front and surround sound speakers. I chose the white speakers and the color blends perfectly well with a nice limited edition picture resting between them. You would not believe how well they look on the wall over my sofa and how many compliments I get on their appearance. The speakers were easy to put up and the picture on the net does not do them justice. I can put these speakers anywhere that I want to. I can corner them between two walls, mount them on a stand or just sit them on a table. How sweet is that? Also, the shape of each speaker affords an easy blend into any decor. I know. I'm a woman.

CONS:
Barring someone receiving a lemon, I don't think that anyone could find a legitimate con to these, or for that matter, any of the Polk speakers in this series.

OTHER THOUGHTS:
My receiver is the Onkyo TX-SR706. I have the Polk Tsi300's floor standing speakers as my front left and right speakers. The Polk CS10 is my center speaker, the Polk Tsi100's bookshelf speakers are my surround sound speakers and The Polk OWM3's are my rear back speakers. They are all made to go with one another and are voice matched. Alas, my sub-woofer is a Yamaha SW315 10" powered sub.

All of the speakers are black except the center speaker, which is cherry wood and the OWM3's, which are white. The colors work well since the rears are on the wall above the sofa. Since they are each others matches, I'm able to set my crossover to 80hz and sit back and enjoy the show. It is A LOT OF FIRST RATE SOUND. I've been a music lover my entire life and I have never, ever had a system that sounds as wonderful and first rate as this.

It's my first time building a system and everyone that's comes to my home is super impressed with the way that it sounds and the way that it looks.

Polk Audio OWM3 On-Wall Speaker (Pair, White) Feature

  • Pair of on-wall speakers for a 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 channel surround system
  • Equipped with one 1-inch fabric dome tweeter
  • Frequency response: 80-25KHz
  • Equipped with one 4.5-inch polypropylene cone woofer
  • Super dense glass-filled ABS creates an acoustically inert cabinet, insuring an extremely clean and low coloration midrange response

Polk Audio OWM3 On-Wall Speaker (Pair, White) Overview

The OWM3 is a dedicated Surround/Satellite that’s about as unobtrusive as an on-wall speaker can be. Equally capable of being part of a 2.1 2nd zone system, or as a multi-channel surround system, the OWM3s unique curved design and removable base make it easy to mount in a corner or simply place on a table. In fact, with the OWM3 you have six different mounting possibilities, including angled wall mounting. The OWM3 incorporates a 4 1/2" driver, which employs Capacitive Coupling Bass Technology for low frequency response that’s truly surprising given the speaker’s ultra compact size. A choice of either white or black finish makes the speaker blend in easily to any decor. It’s simple. It's easy. It's pure Polk Audio.

Polk Audio PSW404 10-Inch 200-Watt Powered Subwoofer (Single, Black)

Polk Audio PSW404 10-Inch 200-Watt Powered Subwoofer (Single, Black) Review

Not just a boomer. I generally can't appreciate most rap or any music that has a straight one or two note boom-boom low end. My cup of tea is music with lows that vary in frequency i.e. different types of drums, upright bass violins, tubas, pipe organs, etc. This sub holds clean and true to those and other instruments. Plus it can home theater great crashes and roars but you'll need to turn it up a bit for impact when watching movies. It does have the ability to rattle and roll artwork on the walls when required, but for that I'd prefer a more expensive sub from HSU or SVS. Anyways this sub is heavy, well constructed, has a fairly powerful amp and is just as ugly and/or just as nice looking as all the other black boxes...It should last me for many years.

Only one minus: it has a foam surround. So the issue is foam surround vs rubber. Foam supposedly deteriorates. I have a pair of Kenwoods with foam surrounding the large 15" base cones but the foam surrounds still rock and roll after 30 years...so I don't know...foam is OK with me. Maybe I'll win a lotto before the foam deteriorates on this sub and replace it with a higher end unit. Unfortunately, this unit is just recently out-of-production so if you can find one and can't afford a HSU or SVS, pick it up...it is a good box, no doubt one that you should be able to enjoy for many years...

Polk Audio PSW404 10-Inch 200-Watt Powered Subwoofer (Single, Black) Feature

  • A single powered subwoofer for use with stereo or home theater speaker systems
  • Equipped with one magnetically shielded 10-inch long-throw woofer
  • Frequency Response: 25Hz - 200Hz
  • Peak power handling: 375 watts (200 watts continuous)
  • Slot-load venting minimizes turbulence, noise, and distortion

Polk Audio PSW404 10-Inch 200-Watt Powered Subwoofer (Single, Black) Overview

10" Bass driver / Integrated 200 Watt Amplifier / Automatic On and Off / Adjustable Crossover / Magnetically Shielded

Polk Audio PSW404 10-Inch 200-Watt Powered Subwoofer (Single, Black) Specifications

Designed for mid-sized rooms, the Polk PSW404 200-watt powered subwoofer makes a great addition to your home theater or stereo system. The sub features a 10-inch long-throw driver that produces a longer excursion and better linearity than most comparably sized models, along with slot-load venting that improves the bass response by dramatically minimizing turbulence, noise, and distortion. The resulting thunderous bass shakes out all the thrills and chills of your favorite movie soundtracks, while its accurate musicality makes you sit up and take notice whether you're listening to rump-shaking hip-hop or a powerful classical piece.

Contributing to the distortion-free bass response is the rock-solid medium-density fiberboard (MDF) housing, which includes a 1-inch-thick front baffle that minimizes panel resonance. Additional features include a hi-roll surround that supports longer excursion; a high-current 200-watt continuous (375 watts dynamic) power amplifier; adjustable low-pass crossover, phase switch, and volume controls; and an auto on/off circuit that automatically turns on the subwoofer when it senses a program signal. If no signal is detected, the amplifier turns off within 15 minutes.

The PSW404, which sports a genuine wood veneer finish in black, includes an unfiltered LFE input for use with low-pass filtered output jacks along with filtered speaker-level and line-level inputs. As a final bonus, the sub is magnetically shielded for safe, flexible placement near a TV or video monitor. The sub measures 13.62 by 14.31 by 16.5 inches (W x H x D) and is backed by a five-year warranty on the speaker and a three-year warranty on the amplifier.

Polk Audio 10" Sub Review - Dave Hightower - Zeeland, MI.
I really like this Sub, it has a lot of power and has great sound when compairing price and performance. I bought two of them and wanted to buy two more but have not been able to find the same deal I did last time. I will continue to watch this product for another great bargan and perfromance. Overall i have two independant home theater systems in my house and both are equipped with Polk Audio speakers. I continue to be impressed with their performance.

SWEET Sound - crazydays01 - chicago
I use to have the polk psw12 wanted some thing more compact and this blows it out of the water tighter bass and gives a real theater effect.

Good deal for the price - R. Denney - Chicago, IL
This sub is easy too hook-up, good looking, and delivers a good range of sound from the low-lows to higher notes. Hard to beat for the price. And if you get it delivered by JR, you'll get it very quickly (before the estimated date in my case) and in great condition.

The only downside is that it is a bit-larger and slightly heaver than I personally expected, but only slightly.

Polk Audio LSi9 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, Ebony)

Polk Audio LSi9 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, Ebony) Review

Polk wrote the book on customer service.

We have two pairs of LSi9 speakers. I bought the first pair in March 2009 after reading wonderful reviews about them here at Amazon. We have a set of Polk SRS 3.1s in our living room, so I didn't want to get anything else but Polks. The SRS 3.1s are 48 inches high and weigh 100 pounds EACH, and they are 19 years old, but they sound as fabulous as the day we got them, so my preference for Polk is justified. The LSi9s were placed in our master bedroom, to be used mainly with the computer where I store most of our music. They sound just as good as the towers in the living room, perhaps tighter and better focused, even though they are only a third of their size. I loved them so much that three weeks later I went back to Fry's Electronics to get another pair for my office, to replace the Klipsch bookshelf speakers we had there for a while. Well, Fry's only had one set left, an open box pair which were in use as demonstrators. The price was right, so I bought them on the spot.
Now comes the good part. One of the open box speakers didn't sound right. I reluctantly called Polk Audio's customer service, expecting a run-around from voice mail hell. To my surprise on the second ring a pleasant young man named Eric answered. I told him about the problem with the open box speaker, and Eric said I could ship it to San Diego for repair, or he could send me the parts and I could repair it myself. He said there are only one or two parts which might be bad, and replacing them takes only 10 minutes. I didn't want the hassle of shipping the 35 pound speaker, so I asked Eric to send the parts. The crossover didn't help, so I called again and asked for the 5 1/2 inch driver. Well - the driver arrived next day, I changed it in 5 minutes, and I sent back the old parts to San Diego. The only tool needed was a Philips screwdriver. It is absolutely amazing how quick and efficient is Polk's customer service, especially in this age, when horror stories abound, just read some other posts here about any other brand.
By the way we had other speakers before the Polks, such as Acoustats and Magnepans, but I personally find the Polks, tower or bookshelf, much superior to anything else I owned or heard anywhere else. One of these days I'd like to hear the top of the line LSi25s - I'd probably get a pair if they weren't so very heavy. Thanks, Eric, and thanks, Polk Audio.

Polk Audio LSi9 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, Ebony) Feature

Polk Audio LSi9 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, Ebony) Overview

The Polk Audio LSi9 bookshelf speaker is a bookshelf speaker that delivers superior linearity, definition and imaging, as well as bass response that's rich, deep and satisfying. It's superior musical accuracy equals serious theatrical impact. Like the whole LSi Series, it is highly accurate and intensely musical. Its dual driver and Ring Radiator Tweeter (rare in a speaker of this price) present a large soundstage without sacrificing pinpoint localization. The Mylar bypass capacitor in the high-pass crossover extends and flattens high frequency response. Hear musical details you've never heard before. Listen to the LSi Loudspeakers with SACD and DVD-Audio sources to reveal higher accuracy and resolution, with more dynamic response and superb focus; true three-dimensional imaging and remarkable reproduction of even the finest details.

Beautiful (Needs powerful amp) - Punit Shetty - Dubai
Needs a powerful amp (would recommend at least 200 watts @ 4 ohms) to bring out their true beauty. I discovered the meaning of the word "sound stage" with these speakers. The bass is just too good to be true , all my friends think there is a sub woofer playing also & search for it & are amazed to find that all that base is without a sub.
The clarity is the best I've heard so far.

I've heard that these don't sound so good with a less powerful amp so throw that into the equation when you think about buying them.

Overrated - George Goldberg - Tucson, AZ United States
For the same money, I think better sound is available. I compared them with my Paradigm Monitor 11 v.3 speakers and found the Polks much less open, almost as if they had a blanket over them. I also found that at moderate volume the woofers began making a vibrating noise which obliged me to attenuate the bass. I was using a Cambridge Audio Azur 640a v.2 integrated amplifier rated at 120 watts into 4 ohms and initially set at direct (bypassing tone controls) - the same way I play my Paradigms - but as noted had to turn the bass way down. This stopped the vibrating but of course reduced the bass, which isn't very deep or strong to begin with. (Lest anyone think that it's unfair to compare stand-mounts with floorstanders, please note that they are almost exactly the same price - and the Paradigms don't need stands.) If you are limited to stand-mounts (you certainly can't put these deep, heavy speakers on a bookshelf), these might be worth trying. But I would certainly recommend giving others a try too.

Outstanding! - Heimdahl - Hillsboro, OR USA
These are probably the best bookshelf speakers you can buy at ANY price!

YEs, they are 4-ohm impedance so you need a high-current amp or receiver and yes, they are heavy but oh, what beautiful sound!

oh yeah, they look at good as they sound.

Polk Audio PSW505 12-Inch Powered Subwoofer (Single, Black)

Polk Audio PSW505 12-Inch Powered Subwoofer (Single, Black) Review

I spent hours of reviewing and listening to subwoofers. I am a college student therefore i have not a lot of money to just throw around. I had a bookshelf setup from the 90s that weren't keeping up like they used to. I had bought a pair of monitor 50s and paired them with my Harmon Kardon HK 3490. They sounded beautiful every high and mid was perfect. Where was the low end though? SO I went searching for a sub. I looked everywhere. I found several really nice looking subs, but they were all to expensive. I came across the 505 did some research and found out a guy a couple blocks up the road had one. I was completely blown away. I picked one up immediately.
I will do the Cons first.
It is rather bulky. Think the size of about 3 or so receivers staked up on each other. It is rather heavy as well. About 50 pounds. If you have a really cheap TV if will really mess up the image. My mom has a proscan and I can't have it on when shes watching tv because the magnets are so massive. They are fine with my Vizio tv though, not a problem and its about 4 inches from the tv.
Next con is the foam surround. Granted it makes it a little more efficient, I would have loved a rubber surround. They tend to last longer (upside is if you register the subwoofer as soon as you get it, you have FIVE YEAR WARRANTY!!!!!) that is a monster pro... I mean where can you go and get a five year warranty.
Next con is this...which really isn't a con. If you live in a dorm or an apartment complex i would go with a lower sub maybe an 8 inch or a 10 at the max...this thing slaps everything off the walls up or down stairs when turned fully up (which I would not recommend)
The last con is the break in period. It seems to take forever but when it is broken in...wow its a huge difference in sound. Its so much tighter and accurate and it has a more bass sound rather than a boomy sound.
Now for the pros. If anything would go wrong polk customer service is amazing. I blew my tweeters on my monitor 50s in the 3 days. They didn't ask how or why i did it, they just sent me out a brand new pair of tweeters and I called them up and they directed me right through it.
This sub can be had from anywhere from 200-250 shipped. I bought mine at newegg for 230. Very pleased.
Now, I use mine soley for music because I am a bass head and it really makes those low notes stand out. However. If you do not have up decent speakers and are just using cheap sony bookshelf speakers for at your local sears I would net get this sub. It will overpower the speakers and all you will hear is bass. You need a decent pair of speakers like monitor 40s or something or it wont sound balanced.
All in all this sub plays my music without any lack of bass, I use redbook CDs...and the bass is crystal clear. Its just astonishing. Much better than the setup I had before.
If you are on the edge with this one. You cant, and will not ever find a subwoofer with this amount of watts, inputs and features in any store for less than 400. Easy. If you want a tight powerful sub I would pick one or two up (I have 2) before they are completely gone. There is limited stock considering the monitor series was discontinued for the Tsi Series.

Awesome Sub - J. Hall -
All I can say is this sub is awesome. More bass than the average listener will need - but it's great to have just in case. I ran speaker cable from the left and right (front) outputs of my receiver to my sub inputs, then from the sub outputs to my satellite left and right speakers for perfect mixing. Best purchase I've made in a while. For the price - this is a steal.

One of the best out there for the money. - E. A. Hurst - From Beyond
Have/had the JBL 10' sub which is very nice, but I wanted that BOOM you feel in your chest, like the theaters. After looking at many reviews online, and stereo shops it came down to either Velodyne, sunfire,(too much doe for me) Infinity,
SVS (another great brand)and finally these.. the Polk Audio PSW 505 12'
Thick cone surround sub, at this price it is nearly a steal, do not hesitate with this one! if you see this on amazon for ANY price, buy it! forget about the "Higher well known names" this will wipe the floor with most of the ones that are even priced at 0 more. Yes, they are THAT good. But, you need the right receiver/wires to give them the proper amount of output.

I was not surprised about the company making good products they have been around for a very long time so that was expected, what was not expected was how low this thing can get if you tweak it just right, the foam surround woofer is huge thus obviously delivering thunderous bass without causing any damage to the speaker itself. the back of the box is very typical in that, it is a pretty old-style set up making it very easy to to adjust the frequency response, terrible, bass, highs, tone level, lows, power switch in the back etc..

Is there better out there? sure, if you wanna pay 0-00 more for a "Name/Look" but if you want true sonic performance that can shake your neighbors windows, all at a low reasonable price, get this. You will be happy you did once again just to reiterate this is not the best by far, meaning if you have the money and really want the best (whatever that is to you) stick with SVS or the new C-Series from Cerwin Vega! Aside from this, this item is tops for the money hands down no contest. Best of all Amazon has it for the lowest price around you won't find this in your local best buy for this good a price, shop around think, do the math. (May buy another one) 5 stars.

Great Sub - Joseph Durall -
This is a great sub. It fills in the low base nicely. It is for movies more than music though.

Polk Audio RM6751 Satellite Speaker (Single, Black)

Polk Audio RM6751 Satellite Speaker (Single, Black) Review

I got these to use as full-range mains in multiple rooms hooked up to the whole-house wireless audio system. I was skeptical given their price but they sound really good.

And I don't just mean "good given the price I paid". I wanted something as small as possible that was capable of filling the rooms (13x13 average) with clear, present, musical sound, and these sound good in that context. I don't feel like I had compromise in price or size to get something that sounded good.

I must mention the type of music I play through them tends to be classical, jazz standards, modern jazzy stuff like Diana Krall, hard to classify stuff like Cesaria Evora and Pink Martini, other stuff like Lyle Lovett etc. They all sound good to me. The bass comes through clear and undistorted, the highs are surprisingly clear and silky, vocal mids sound well-placed. And, to top it all off, their imaging is rather transparent, so I can't really pick out a definite sound source.

In fact, these sound almost as good as some of the other similarly sized speakers I have which cost over 2x the price (Aperion Audio Intimus 4B's), and, in fact, handle lows better. (They're not as pretty though, but not distractingly bad looking either... they disappear into the background well).

I'd be happy even is there were more expensive, but since they aren't, I'm doubly happy.

Polk Audio RM6751 Satellite Speaker (Single, Black) Overview

Building an EX or ES surround sound system for 6.1 or 7.1 speakers? You can get RM6750 speakers in Single Satellite (RM6751) pack to fill out the speaker requirements of more-than-5.1 multi-channel systems.

Polk Audio RM6751 Satellite Speaker (Single, Black) Specifications

The Polk RM6751 satellite speaker accommodates listeners who want to add a channel or two to their existing 5.1-channel surround sound speaker system. Specifically designed for Polk's RM6750 setup--which itself comes with four satellites, a center speaker, and a subwoofer--the satellite helps fill out the rear effects, creating a true top-of-the-line home theater compatible with the latest surround encoding formats. Each RM6751 speaker is equipped with a 3.25-inch polymer composite cone midrange driver that's lightweight and efficient, along with a high-performance 0.5-inch silk dome tweeter. Combined, the drivers create a clear, distortion-free midrange and smooth highs.

The speaker also employs the same PowerPort bass vent technology used in Polk's line of full-sized speakers, thus improving the lower midrange response. The result is a midrange with no "hole" between the satellite and the sub frequencies, helping male vocals sound rich and full rather than thin and weak (as with most other sub/sat systems). Meanwhile, the satellite's integrated baffle and grille design allows for maximum sound dispersion and minimum diffraction, letting everyone in the room hear the same clear, well-balanced audio.

The speaker is housed within a mineral-filled, non-resonant, black-finished polypropylene enclosure that not only sounds natural, but also looks great. To top it off, the speaker includes an integrated keyhole slot-mounting bracket for effortless wall mounting. And because the speaker is magnetically shielded, you can locate the speaker near the TV without suffering from video interference. The speaker measures 4.06 by 6.5 by 5 inches (W x H x D) and is backed by a five-year warranty.

Excellent Speaker - JAFU - New York
Good solid construction, excellent sound quality. I have four of them hooked up as rear surround speakers in a 7.1 setup with an Onkyo receiver. Very clear sound in DVD and TV movies, and FM music. You can't go wrong with Polk products.

Great for the rear surrounds - Linker S. Mills - Baltimore, MD USA
Got these for the extra two needed to make a full 7.1 surround for the RM6750 Polk system. Very satisfied with the speakers, and of course match perfectly the satellites that come with the RM6750 system.

Running a Yamaha RX-V765 with 95W through these using 16 gauge wire. Wonderful range and clarity. Mine did not come with any mounts, but have great molded hooks that you can use a deeper wood screw to hang if you will not need to aim them in a different direction from the wall face.

Great things in a small package! - Scotsman -
I paired 2 of these 6751s with a 6750 polk audio package and an onkyo 605 receiver in a 16x16 theater room. I figured since we just finished the basement I would try to think to the future so I wired for 7.1 even though a lot of things still just play in 5.1. I'm not an audiophile but the sound is crisp and clear. I have an Xbox 360, xbox, and wii hooked up through the receiver to the 58" panasonic plasma. The surround sound is fantastic on games, movies, and tv! I definitely got my money's worth with these speakers! Amazon had great prices and delivery was quick.
